IVE Just Dropped a "Looks Can Kill" Remix With Tiger JK and I Can't Sit Still π₯π
Okay DIVEs, our girls really said "one version isn't enough." π IVE released a brand-new remix of their title track "Looks Can Kill", and it features a Korean hip-hop legend. Let's get into it! β¨
The remix: Alawn + Tiger JK π§
The new version is called "Looks Can Kill (Alawn Remix (Feat. Tiger JK))", and it came out on October 30 at 1 PM KST. Starship Entertainment announced it as a surprise release, so it dropped right in the middle of the album's first week. π±
- Alawn did the remix. He's a multi-platinum producer who has worked on several Billboard No. 1 hits.
- Tiger JK jumps in on the rap. He's one of the biggest names in Korean hip-hop, known for his powerful flow.
- Rei is credited for lyrics and rap on the song too. Our rap queen! π₯
Why "Looks Can Kill" is such a big deal π
The original song is the title track of IVE's Looks Can Kill EP (six songs, released October 26). Its superhero-themed music video went #1 on YouTube's worldwide trending music videos, and the song hit #1 on the Melon Global-K weekly chart.
The EP also sold 714,887 copies in its first week, which is more than their last release. And the official dance challenge? Over 100 million views combined. That's a LOT of people doing the moves. π
