ILLIT and BLACKPINK Just Joined the 100 Million Club (Again!) ππ€
Okay, the YouTube counters were WORKING this week. π ILLIT and BLACKPINK both crossed 100 million views on a music video, and SM Entertainment casually dropped a peek at their early 2027 plans. Let's get into it, besties. β¨
ILLIT's "jellyous" hits 100M π¬
According to ILLIT's agency BELIFT LAB, the "jellyous" music video passed 100 million YouTube views early in the morning on November 5 (Korea time). The MV first came out on July 7, 2025, so it got there in a little over a year and three months.
And the wild part? "jellyous" was a B-side from their third mini album, not even the title track. π³ It's now ILLIT's third MV in the 100M club, after "Magnetic" and "It's Me." The candy-colored, game-style vibes really said main character energy. GLLITs, we ate. π½οΈ
BLACKPINK's "GO" makes it 16 π€π
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's "GO" crossed 100 million views on November 4 (Korea time). It was released on February 27, 2026, so that's about eight months from drop to 100M.
This is their 16th full-group MV to reach that number. It joins legends like "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "How You Like That," "Pink Venom," "Shut Down" and "JUMP." BLINKs, the aura is unmatched. π
Bonus: SM's early 2027 lineup π
In its business results report on November 4, SM Entertainment shared what's coming in the first three months of 2027 (no exact dates yet):
- Full albums: Red Velvet's Seulgi, NCT's Jaehyun and RIIZE
- Mini album: Hearts2Hearts
- Singles: a new single from SUPER JUNIOR-83z, a Japanese single from NCT JNJM and a Chinese single from Chenle
- Concerts: NCT 127, NCT WISH, aespa, Yesung, WayV, Changmin and Minho
A RIIZE full album AND a Hearts2Hearts mini? 2027 is already locked in. ππ₯
